ABOUT
LILY & BLAIRE
Hello, I'm Lily! A proud mama and passionate entrepreneur, I hold a license in School Social Work from Harvard Graduate School of Education and proudly embrace my ADHD diagnosis. Despite facing academic challenges and barely graduating from high school, my journey into entrepreneurship was inspired by my single mother and grandfather, both resilient entrepreneurs who instilled in me a passion for hustle and grit. Growing up with limited resources, we learned to thrive through determination and creativity.
Navigating the challenges of ADHD and other learning disabilities, coupled with the responsibilities of single parenthood, fueled my entrepreneurial spirit. From my very first lemonade stand at eight years old (which became the top spot in our town!), I've been drawn to the intersection of people and business.
For fifteen years, I balanced entrepreneurship with a career in education. However, in 2015, I made the leap into full-time entrepreneurship. Since then, I've successfully launched three businesses: Oak & Pearl Design, Open Space Design (specializing in holistic decluttering), and On Purpose Coaching (providing guidance to women and moms aspiring to elevate their lives and passions into thriving businesses).
As a single mama raising a child with ADHD, I'm deeply motivated to share the transformative power of entrepreneurship with young entrepreneurs. My personal journey has shown me how ADHD can be channeled into a superpower, and I'm committed to empowering children to discover their own potential through entrepreneurial skills.
Hello! I’m Blaire. I’m a full-time single mama with a ten year old son who has ADHD, and I do too! I know in my heart of hearts that I want to help forge alternative paths forward for my son than what he has been and will be receiving from traditional schooling. I’m so passionate and excited about where this endeavor will lead I can hardly stand it. I’m committed. I’ve had the entrepreneurial spirit since that first Lemomade stand. After graduating from The University of Alabama with a B.A. in Communications/Marketing/Advertising I worked for a leading ad agency in Richmond, VA. Although the job was exciting, after two years I realized that being tied down to an office job was not for me. I started my own graphic design and production business and went on to dewsign everything from logos to a bi weekly newspaper to magazines. I pivoted my career just over 3 years ago to real estate and have sold 52+m in real estate which I love and am good at. I have the hustle that it takes to be an entrepreneur and have learned how to use my adhd as a superpower!
