Plugd

link-in-bio app

My own product. A link in bio for creators, with their latest video, live streams, builds and sponsors. No logo.

Fourteen seconds, no sound.

The headache

Creators send millions of views to one link in their bio, and most of those pages are a list of buttons with someone else's logo at the bottom. Their newest video, their stream and the brands that back them sit somewhere else.

  • In the way: A list of links says nothing about the creator.

The fix: Blocks for the newest video, a live card while they stream, a garage of builds, galleries and a tip jar.

  • In the way: Free link pages carry the platform's logo.

The fix: No logo on any page, free plan included.

  • In the way: Changing a link shouldn't mean asking anyone.

The fix: Every page has its own editor with a live phone preview.

  • In the way: Sponsors want numbers.

The fix: Paid plans add a dashboard: views, taps, where visitors came from, and a tap heatmap.

A link-in-bio product I run. Creators start a page free in a few minutes, or have it built from their own photos and videos. Real pages for car YouTubers, a hat brand and creators are live on it now.

Up close

Real pages firstThe second screen is real creators' pages in phones, each one live a tap away.
Blocks, shown workingEach block is drawn as it looks on a page, not described in a feature list.

The look, and why

Warm paper, #f3f2ee, and ink, #111111, in the phone's own system face, bold and tight, so the site looks like the app it sells. One near-black band, #0b0b0c, holds the real creator pages so their colours do the talking.
